የመቱ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር እንደገና አበበ በአሜሪካ እና ካናዳ የሚገኙትን ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ጎበኙ (የህዝብና ውጭ ግንኙነት ዳይሬክቶሬት ታህሳስ 1/2015)።

ዶ/ር እንደገና አበበ የካናዳ፣ የቶሮንቶ እና የዋተርሎ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎችን የጎበኙ ሲሆን አላማዉም በአሜሪካ እና በካናዳ የሚገኙ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በመማር ማስተማር፣ በምርምር፣ በቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግርእና በዘመናዊ ግብርና ዘርፍ ያካበቱትን ልምድ ለመውሰድ እንዲሁም ወደፊት አብሮ መስራት በሚቻልባቸው ጉዳዮች ላይ ያተኮረ እንደሆነ ፕሬዝደንቱ ገልፀዋል። በመሆኑም በቀጣይ ነፃ ኢ-ሪሶርስ (እንደ ኢ-መፅሀፍት) መጠቀም፣ የ2ኛና 3ኛ ድግሪ ተማሪዎችን የጋራ የምክር አገልግሎት መስጠት፣ የዩኒቨርሲቲዉን ራዕይና ተልኮ መሰረት ያደረጉ የጋራ ጥናትና ምርምሮችን ማካሄድ፣ ፕሮጀክቶችን ማማከር፣ በነባር ፕሮፌሰሮች የትምህርት ስርዓታችንን በጋራ ማስገምገም እና ሌሎችም ጥቅሞች ከጉብኝቱ የምናገኝ ፕሬዝደንቱ አብራርተዋል።

በጉብኝታቸዉም ላቦራቶሪዎች ማለትም እንደ ቤልትስቪል የግብርና ምርምር ላቦራቶሪ፣ ሃይድሮሎጂ እና የርቀት ዳሳሽ ላቦራቶሪ ፣ የእንስሳት ጂኖሚክስ እና ማሻሻያ ላቦራቶሪ፣ የምግብ ጥራት ላቦራቶሪ ፣ የንብ ምርምር ላቦራቶሪ ፣ የእንስሳት ባዮሳይንስ እና ባዮቴክኖሎጂ ላቦራቶሪ፣ የፍራፍሬ እና አትክልቶች የዘረመል ማሻሻያ ላቦራቶሪ እንዲሁም USDA የግብርና ብሔራዊ ቤተ መፃህፍትበመጎብኘት መልካም ተሞክሮዎችን መቅሰማቸዉን ዶ/ር እንገና አስረድተዋል።

Endegena Abebe( PhD) Visited Universities in the USA and Canada (Public & External Relation Directorate Dec. 10/2022)

The President of Mattu University, Dr. Indegena Abebe, visited Canada, Toronto and Waterloo universities. According to the president, the goal of the visit is to take experiences of universities in the United States and Canada in the fields of academic circles, research, technology transfer and modern agriculture, as well as to identify areas of future partnerships. As to Dr. Indegena, our university will benefit a lot from the visit: free e-resources, joint advisory of post graduate students, conducting joint agricultural projects, advising projects, joint curriculum review engaging senior professors and other benefits.

The president added that good experiences were grasped via visiting laboratories like Beltsville Agricultural Research Center Laboratories such as Hydrology and Remote Sensing Laboratory, Animal Genomics and Improvement Laboratory and Food Quality Laboratory, Bee Research Laboratory, Animal Biosciences and Biotechnology Laboratory, Genetic Improvement for Fruits and Vegetables Laboratory and USDA National Agricultural Library.
