Mattu University will conduct another community service and social support program on September 9, 2026 (Pagume 4, 2018 E.C.), reaffirming its continued commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.

As part of a series of similar community service initiatives undertaken by the University throughout the year, the program will include the handover of a house constructed by Mattu University to an economically disadvantaged member of the surrounding community. The University will also distribute food items to economically disadvantaged community members in connection with the upcoming Ethiopian New Year (2019 E.C) and provide educational materials, including exercise books and pens, to students whose parents are unable to afford these essential learning resources.

The initiative reflects Mattu University's ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society, promoting educational opportunities, and improving the well-being of its surrounding communities. Through such sustained interventions, the University continues to strengthen its partnership with the community and translate its institutional mission into meaningful social impact.
