Mattu University proudly held its 12th graduation ceremony, conferring degrees upon 1,407 students across various disciplines, including health sciences. The grand ceremony took place, celebrating the academic achievements of the graduating class.
In his opening speech, Dr. Alemu Disasa, President of Mattu University, congratulated the graduates, their families, and the entire university community. Dr. Alemu expressed gratitude to faculty members, staff, and stakeholders for their contributions to this milestone. Dr. Alemu encouraged the graduates to serve their country with sincerity and integrity while continuously seeking knowledge to keep pace with the ever-evolving fields of science and technology.
The guest of honor, Dr. Dima Nogo, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and Peace Affairs of the House of People's Representatives and a member of Mattu University’s Board of Directors, highlighted the critical role of an educated workforce in driving national prosperity. He emphasized that universities must remain committed to producing highly qualified professionals to meet the country’s development needs. Dr. Dima urged the graduates to act responsibly and contribute meaningfully to the progress of their nation.
