College of Natural and Computational Sciences

Overview

The College of Natural and Computational Sciences was founded in 2011. The college began with four departments: biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Currently, the College has students in seven undergraduate and postgraduate departments, with regular and non-regular programs. The college has 123 academic staff (instructors and lab technicians) and 13 administrative and supportive staff.

The College of Natural and Computational Sciences is led by a College Dean and two vice deans. There are also three coordinators: Reform & Quality Assurance, Postgraduate, Research & Community Service, and Gender Affairs. There are currently over 2000 undergraduate students enrolled in various programs, both regular and non-regular..

Message from the Dean of the College of Natural and Computational Sciences (CNCS)

It is my great honor to welcome you to College of Natural and Computational Sciences. Whether you are a new student, a returning scholar, or a member of our esteemed faculty, you are joining a vibrant community dedicated to excellence, innovation, and discovery.

Our College stands at the intersection of rigorous academic inquiry and practical application. We are committed to providing a dynamic curriculum that blends theoretical foundations with hands-on experiences. Our faculty, who are leaders in their fields, are here to guide and mentor you as you push boundaries and explore new frontiers in natural and computational sciences.

The integration of computational methods into natural sciences is transforming how we understand and solve complex problems. From artificial intelligence and data science to biology and environmental science, the opportunities for discovery are endless. You will be equipped with the tools, knowledge, and research opportunities needed to make meaningful contributions to some of the most pressing challenges in the world today.
