Haset Gedion Bogale, a talented and dedicated Grade 11 student, has achieved an outstanding feat by securing the 2nd position in a prestigious Mathematics competition organized by the Ethiopian Mathematics Professional Association (EMPA). The event, held at Kotobe Education University, brought together the brightest young minds from 25 universities across Ethiopia, showcasing the depth of mathematical talent in the country.

Representing Mattu University with pride, Haset Gedion, a student at the esteemed Bedele Boarding School, demonstrated her exceptional skills and determination. Through her unwavering commitment to excellence, she outperformed her peers by  achieving the highest score among Grade 11 participants.

In recognition of her exceptional performance, she was awarded a smartphone and 7,000 birr for her impressive 2nd place finish.
